Job Description
3. Leading and organising monthly, quarterly, and annual finance cycles
4. Overseeing AP, AR, GL and daily accounting operations
5. Ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings
6. Driving strong internal controls and compliance
7. Preparing financial reports, statements, and audit schedules
8. Mentoring and developing the accounting team
9. Identifying and implementing process improvements
10. Collaborating cross-functionally to enhance workflows
11. Preparing budgets and revenue forecasts
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
12. Ability to attend the office 5 days per week (Reading)
13. A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
14. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Ability to lead and develop a team.
17. Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
