THE
EXCITING OPPORTUNITY
We opened
the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May
2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back
to life. Our Heartists® aspire to create memorable, heartfelt moments for
all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also to
immerse themselves into our hospitality, creating their own astonishing tales
of MGallery magical moments. We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a
remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at the
heart of The Municipal’s story. The iconic clock tower and bells giving
the tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants, bars and a state-of-the-art
spa sanctuary experience, will offer everyone the place to have the time of
their lives, pause the clock and embark upon their own magical journey with
MGallery.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA THERAPIST AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY
What
you'll be doing...
Our
Municipal MGallery pillars are founded on the Heartist® guest connection and
our exceptional service. When you enter
our hotel you will be “wowed” and we aspire for our guests to be bowled over
too from the moment they enter our Luxury 5 Bubble Awarded Spa. Our Heartists are our team, the heart of the
hotel, who strive to make meaning in every moment from check in to
departure. Our Spa Therapists create a
luxurious, personalised experience for guests, offering tailored treatments
that ensure exceptional care, relaxation, and a rejuvenating atmosphere for
ultimate comfort and well-being.
WHAT
WE NEED FROM YOU
We
hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our
requirements...
* A positive can-do attitude and
the passion to stand out and be proud of our hotel and MGallery brand.
* Level 3 NVQ / BTEC in Beauty Therapy
or Equivalent
* Passion filled Spa Enthusiast
driven by quality care and wellness.
* Excellent presentation skills and
attention to detail demonstrating adaptability to change.
* A customer focussed approach in maintaining
luxury from treatment room to all Spa Areas
* Flexibility to work varied days / weekends and shifts.
Other
duties include;
* Leading client show rounds to
demonstrate all Spa offerings and the ultimate journey of relaxation and
wellness.
* Providing expert skincare advice
through identifying the guest’s prescriptive needs, selling products.
* Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and
H&S requirements. Taking pride
in not only treatment rooms but all areas of work within the Spa and pool
areas.
* Completion of Reception duties on
an ad hoc basis ensuring efficiency of column dispersion.
* Stock control, management and
accurate reporting.
* Time management and proactivity
outside of the treatment room, taking ownership and pride of the whole Spa
through teamwork.
