Job Title: Senior Business Services Development (BSD)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Northampton
Hours of Work: Full Time, flexi hours (Core hours – 10-4)
Salary: £48,000 – £52,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We’re working with a respected and modern accountancy practice who are seeking two BSD Seniors to join their Northampton team. This role offers responsibility for accounts preparation, management accounts and tax compliance, while also giving you the chance to support advisory projects across a wide range of industries. You’ll enjoy independence in managing your own workload, close interaction with clients, and the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills in a people-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Preparing financial statements and tax computations for companies and unincorporated businesses, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and providing analytical insight for decision making
• Carrying out error spotting analytical reviews on client accounts
• Supporting other advisory and consultancy projects, developing both accounting and taxation knowledge
• Managing your own workload with independence and responsibility while working closely with clients
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to a sociable, modern working environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong accounting background with experience in accounts and management accounts
• Analytical mindset with the ability to carry out detailed reviews and spot errors
• Strong communication skills: People focused, mature, and proactive
• Driven, motivated individuals who can work independently with low supervision
• Preferably based in or around Northampton
