Crumb launched in 2022, growing quickly and attracting attention. We now have a community of over a million pets worldwide, following our expansion to the US, Canada and Australia. We plan to launch in the EU in 2026.
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst comfortable in working with large data sets, solving complex problems and using data analysis to drive business change. As a Data Analyst working with the executive team at Crumb, you will play a key role within a growing team that is responsible for overseeing 80% of the company's revenue.
With customers around the world on monthly or annual subscription plans, we're looking for someone to sharply focus on recurring revenue, constantly working to optimise subscription billing processes, improve customer retention and drive revenue growth.
Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery and Excel is a must, along with the ability to think strategically and creatively. Python skills would be an added benefit.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop comprehensive reports and visual aids using raw data to closely monitor and track KPIs.
* Turning large data sets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
* Perform data mining using Google BigQuery to uncover insights.
* Investigate operational requirements, identify problems and opportunities, and propose effective business solutions.
* Identify trends, issues and recommend changes to optimise performance.
* Collaborate with various departments, such as Finance and Marketing.
Requirements
* Experience: 3+ years as an Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* Technical Proficiency: Very experienced in writing queries using SQL/Google BigQuery.
* Excel/Sheets Expert: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
* Experience working with large datasets.
* Strategic and creative thinking.
* Detail-oriented, driven, and curious about data, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves
* Experience in a SaaS or similar environment.
* Analytical experience with a financial or business focus.
* Previous use of Looker would be advantageous.
* Experience using Python, with a focus on reporting/alerts.
