The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, with a team of 4,000 'orange heroes'. We are seeking skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join our team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility for short notice work
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if required
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed schedule. You will receive your roster seven days in advance, with core hours communicated three days prior. Working hours are between 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
