You will work with people with physical, mental health, or social disabilities to help them do everyday activities. You will spend time with individuals to find out what they do in their day-to-day life and help them find ways to overcome challenges.
Main duties of the job
* Carry out the initial screening and assessment of all service users and undertake intensive short-term treatment where appropriate.
* Manage a caseload of clients with complex Occupational Therapy needs, using evidence-based/client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
* Following assessment, undertake case formulation to highlight occupational strengths and limitations and inform the intervention plan.
* Assess for and prescribe appropriate equipment and aids to enable patients' safety and independence with ADLs, providing advice to other staff, families, and carers when required.
* Monitor and evaluate treatment plans, working with other teams within the Trust and third-sector organizations when appropriate.

Qualifications
* BSc/MSc/PG Dip Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC Registration.
Experience
* Experience of working in the NHS.
* Mental Health experience.
