We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home store team in Salford (M6 5HT). This role involves supporting the Store Manager with daily operations and taking full responsibility in their absence. You will inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values. Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the highest standard of customer service
2. Achieving sales targets
3. Maintaining high visual merchandising standards
4. Maximising sales through physical and digital channels
5. Supporting recruitment and development of volunteers
6. Meeting campaign activity expectations
7. Collaborating with the manager to generate stock
Our stores are fast-paced, operating 7 days a week, requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota. The role can be physically demanding due to volume of collections and deliveries but is rewarding as it contributes to funding life-saving research.
