We are recruiting Trainee Youth Workers to join our team to work in residential settings. We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to service users with complex needs within a residential setting, aiming to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with individuals placed into the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and the right skill set are essential to make a positive impact on their lives.
In this role, you will support young persons throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping.
Please note that you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programs before any placements are offered.

Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff.
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users and staff.
3. Keep up to date with all communication and information systems.
4. Attend and actively participate in meetings.
5. Support service users in managing their behavior using approved skills.
6. Promote equality and acknowledge individual differences.
7. Protect service users from any form of abuse.
8. Write accurate reports for reviews and maintain records for monitoring.
9. Attend all required training and achieve relevant qualifications.
10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.
11. Stay updated with procedures and policy changes.
12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others.
13. Undertake additional relevant duties as required.
