We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join its team. Job Overview:
* Full-time, Monday - Friday Cover Supervisor role.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher.
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures.
* Support students with their learning and encourage engagement throughout lessons.
* Take accurate registers and report any concerns to relevant staff members.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders.
* Provide feedback on student participation, behaviour and lesson outcomes.
* Contribute to the wider school community and support students' wellbeing.
