Sales Director – Hobart UK, Equipment Division

Peterborough

Hobart UK, part of ITW’s global Food Equipment Group, is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the next phase of growth for its Equipment business in the UK.

ITW is a Fortune 300 global industrial manufacturer operating in over 40 countries. Within the Food Equipment division, Hobart designs and manufactures premium commercial warewashing, cooking and food preparation equipment used across foodservice, hospitality, retail and public sector catering environments.

Based in Peterborough and reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Director will lead the UK Equipment sales organisation and drive growth through established distributor and national account networks.

The role leads a sales organisation of around 30 people across field sales, national accounts, projects and internal sales functions, with a focus on developing market share across HoReCa, Government and Retail sectors.

This is a key leadership position within the Hobart UK Senior Management Team, working closely with colleagues across both the Equipment and Service divisions to maximise commercial performance and long-term customer relationships.

The Role

* Lead the strategic growth of Hobart’s equipment sales across the UK market
* Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase market share and revenue
* Lead, develop and motivate a national sales team
* Strengthen distributor partnerships and national account relationships
* Identify market opportunities and translate them into clear sales initiatives

The Person

* Proven senior sales leadership experience within B2B equipment or technical product markets
* Experience selling through distribution and national account channels
* Strong commercial and strategic thinking combined with a hands-on leadership style
* Track record of delivering sales growth and developing high-performing teams
* Ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
* Experienced in identifying actionable insights from multiple data sources to inform strategy and drive performance
