Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We’re looking for an Admin / Training Coordinator to join our team at our Wrexham.

You will be instrumental in delivering thorough support across Health, Safety, and Environmental areas. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, promoting safe work practices, and protecting the welfare of our employees, assets, and the environment.

You will be responsible for:

1. Organise statutory HSE training programs to ensure the company meets all statutory requirements.

2. Organise any on-site training that may be requested by site management.

3. Maintain Area skills matrices for all departments.

4. Update current training files and produce new documents as required.

5. Monitor the progression of the training and provide the Management team with continuous updates on the current status.

6. Risk assessment – assist in conducting new risk assessments for processes, and reviewing and updating existing ones.

7. Assist teams in developing safe systems of work for new/existing processes to ensure the safe operation of equipment.

8. Assist in accident investigation processes as needed.

9. Complete workplace audits and implement corrective actions. Compile reports for the Management team if required.

10. Produce and deliver presentations covering various HSE issues.

11. Working as part of a team or as an individual providing key support in delivering projects.

12. Provide support during internal/external audits.

13. Deliver workplace inductions for visitors, contractors, and new starters.

14. Assist in the development and delivery of Behavioral Safety initiatives.

15. Assist in site environmental management to include the compilation and management of site environmental data.

16. Ad hoc management of stationery, printer supplies for the office, etc…

You are the right fit if you have/are:

17. Computer literacy is essential, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

18. Previous experience in conducting risk assessments preferably within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

19. A self-starter, proactive, and able to work without direct supervision.

20. Practical/pragmatic approach.

21. NEBOSH or IOSH certificate is advantageous but not necessary.

22. Willingness to undertake training as required to meet the role's requirements.

23. Previous audit experience is advantageous.

24. Candidates should ideally have experience working in a manufacturing environment and a willingness to learn and develop within this challenging role. Previous involvement in Health and Safety and/or training would be advantageous.

25. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with strong organisational ability. Tenacity and the drive to succeed are additional qualities required in this role plus the ability to work closely with the Site Management team to meet all goals concerning HSE.
