Music Technician – Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Sheffield, seeking a dedicated Music Technician to join their collaborative team.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the Music Department, ensuring the smooth running of lessons, rehearsals, and performances, while helping to inspire young learners to achieve their creative potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for music lessons, rehearsals, and school performances
* Maintain and set up music and audio-visual equipment
* Assist staff and students with the use of music technology and recording software
* Manage and organise departmental resources and equipment
* Support classroom activities and wider music projects as required
Requirements:
* Experience in music technology (e.g. sound engineering, recording, or digital music production)
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* A passion for music and education
* Willingness to contribute to a dynamic and creative school environment
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
