IG Masonry Support is a leading provider of innovative bespoke masonry support products, catering to the construction industries unique needs. We are committed to delivering high quality solutions and exceptional customer service.
As a Special Projects Detailer You will play a crucial role in designing and delivering specialised Masonry Support, Wind Posts and Bespoke Brick Solutions to customer specifications, collaborating closely with clients, project managers, structural engineers and Architects. The role will also involve you being developed through training to provide you with the required skills to, not only detail, but to quote, design and manage your own projects through to delivery.
The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, initially based in Swadlincote, with the option to work flexibly once you have completed your internal training and feel confident.
What you'll be doing:
Drawing: Produce, develop and issue detailed drawings in accordance with agreed timescales based on design by Design engineers. – Issuance For Customer Approval and preparation for manufacture as well as internal R&D Projects.
Production Drawings: Preparation of Solidworks Models and Production drawings, for in house manufacture and internal R&D Projects. Checking 3D models and production drawings from wider team. Creating production packs.
Project Management: Effectively manage multiple live projects, troubleshooting client queries. Demonstrating a proactive client focus, ensuring the achievement of delivery dates and
Project Documentation: Maintain project logs to ensure all reported figures are current, facilitating workload prioritisation and traceability.
Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers, addressing enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Site Visits: Conduct site visits to foster customer relationships, resolve technical issues and contribute to product design development and its impact on the wider project.
Mentorship: Train and mentor junior or new to the business peers in producing accurate drawings for our products and impart your knowledge to help them become self-sufficient.
