As a Residential Team Leader, you should be highly motivated, committed and have a genuine interest in delivering the highest quality of care for children and young people in an outstanding residential setting. You will be approachable and detail focused, ensuring that our children’s safety is assured at all times, and that all protocols and regulations are fully adhered to.
You will support the care team, deputy manager and manager in developing the service, contributing to positive outcomes for the children and young people and the service as a whole.

If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and motivated Children’s Team Leader to join our growing CSE service across the Shropshire region.

We currently have 11 Children’s residential CSE homes in the Shropshire region where we provide specialist support for victims of Child Sexual Exploitation, offering residential care for girls between the ages of 11 – 17 years.
Whilst no two days are ever the same, you will be expected to:
•Provide a safe and happy home environment for our young people to relax, learn and grow
•Encourage health and well-being through social, educational and recreational activities
•Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, washing and shopping
•Ensure stability and consistency in a family orientated manner
•Actively contribute to positive outcomes for the young people and the service as a whole
•To assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to in achieve the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation’s Mission Statement and Values.
•To support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
•To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
•Contacts, visit, key work meeting and therapy sessions
Requirements:
Must hold a full UK driving licence
Must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
12 months experience working in a residential setting – Desirable
