EG Group is seeking a driven Chief Procurement Officer to join our global business. Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals.
2. Ensure compliance with best practices and GSCOP directives.
3. Manage the procurement budget and identify cost-saving opportunities based on market trends.
4. Stay informed on sourcing trends and implement innovative solutions like automation, blockchain, and data analytics.
5. Build strategic partnerships with suppliers to foster innovation, quality, and cost reduction.
6. Promote sustainable sourcing and ethical supply chains, integrating environmental and social considerations.
7. Identify and mitigate procurement risks to ensure supply chain resilience.
8. Lead negotiations for favorable contracts and oversee contract management for compliance and continuous improvement.
9. Mentor and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Candidate Requirements
* 10+ years’ experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role – Essential
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field – Desirable
* Proven experience in designing and leading procurement functions in large organizations
* Strong strategic vision and influencing skills for organizational buy-in
* Ability to drive innovation and leverage technology in procurement
* Experience in sustainable procurement and industry standards like GSCOP
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills
* Contract and supplier relationship management experience
* Deep knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, risk management, and supplier performance metrics
* Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
