We are currently looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the team here at Blackwell Grange Hotel. Blackwell is a social hub for anyone, guest or local, with a passion for culture, art, and food. If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved with we would love to hear from you
What you will be doing
* Effectively run and supervise any or allocated kitchen sections to the required standards
* Ensure that all the preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for service
* Keep a good stock of our inventory and manage waste in best practice
* Ensuring that the designated sections are cleaned and organized
* Support the Executive and Sous Chefs in delivering the required standard of food
* Guide, train and delegate jobs to Junior Chefs as well as support their development
* Comply with all health and safety regulations of Blackwell Grange
We are looking for someone who…
* Has interest in culinary and cooking
* Proven commercial or restaurant kitchen experience
* Pays attention to detail
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Good level of English

Pay: £12.71-£13.25 per hour
