HR Advisor - Facilities Management (Temporary) Rate: £22.99 - £25.87 per hour (Total rate including holiday pay) Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Contract: Temporary | Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting a temporary HR Advisor on behalf of a leading National Facilities Management & Maintenance Contractor. The Client Our client is a highly respected facilities management business that provides critical reactive maintenance services. You will be specifically supporting their public sector division, focusing on their high-profile Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Local Council contracts. The Role Based out of their High Wycombe office, you will be providing comprehensive, generalist HR support to the reactive maintenance division. Working in a fast-paced FM environment, your duties will include: Recruitment Coordination: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for the division, liaising with line managers to fill reactive maintenance vacancies efficiently. ER Case Management: Providing first-line HR advice to line managers on employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinaries, and grievances. Onboarding & Vetting: Driving the compliance processes for site teams, ensuring new starters meet the strict vetting standards required for MOD and Council sites. General HR Support: Assisting with performance management, HR reporting, and driving employee engagement across the regional teams. Requirements Essential: CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent demonstrable experience at an advisory level). Essential Vetting: Due to the secure nature of the MOD and Local Council contracts, the successful candidate must be eligible and willing to undergo strict security vetting and background checks (e.g., BPSS / Enhanced DBS) before or upon commencement. Essential: Strong Employee Relations (ER) and recruitment coordination experience. Preferred: Previous experience within Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Construction sectors. Essential: Ability to hit the ground running in a temporary capacity. What's on Offer Pay Rate: £22.99 to £25.87 per hour (Equivalent to a £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary). Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week). Flexibility: Work from home (WFH) 1 day a week is permitted after one month, subject to performance.
