Job Description

The Accounts Assistant's responsibilities include:

3. Process daily bank reconciliations.
4. Assist with month end processes such as accruals, prepayments and journals.
5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
6. Handle employee expenses and company credit card reconciliations.
7. Responsibility for the purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
9. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
10. Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
11. Work on improving financial procedures and systems within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

12. A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. An understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
16. Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
