We have opportunities at the Trust for F3 / Core level doctors to gain experience in 12 Month mixed rotational posts in Medicine. The posts commence from 05 August 2026.
Rotations
* Geriatrics / Stroke Medicine
* Stroke Medicine / Acute Frailty Medicine
* General Internal Medicine and Respiratory / Cardiology
* Acute Medicine
* Gastroenterology / General Internal Medicine and Respiratory
* Cardiology / Acute Medicine
Please note, all of the above posts have on‑call commitments associated with them. Some aspects of the role can be bespoke to the individual needs of the post‑holder and tailored to take into account previous relevant experience, or achievement of requirements for application to specialty training.
We are advertising simultaneously for several roles both with and without on‑call commitments. If you wish to be considered for multiple rotations, please indicate which in your supporting statement. Submitting multiple applications is not required.

Location
Chesterfield is a thriving market town surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure facilities and extensive retail outlets. The town has excellent road and rail links, and easy access to airports. Derbyshire is home to the Peak District National Park and is an area of outstanding beauty. Numerous stately homes are within easy travelling distance. The Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors, a number of coastal resorts and many historic cities are also close enough for day trips. Housing in the Chesterfield area is competitively priced and offers a wide range of choice, including urban and rural locations. There are several high‑performing state schools in the town, as well as a number of excellent private schools across the wider region. In addition to local shops and complexes, the Meadowhall Shopping Centre is within easy travelling distance. The city of Sheffield is only 9 miles away and hosts two universities, one of which has a medical and dental school.
