About You

You are a resilient, experienced, and passionate practitioner who thrives on making a genuine difference. To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience working directly with children and young people, ideally within a residential care setting.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to connect with and support children who have a wide range of complex needs and diverse life experiences.

  • An outcome-focused approach, effectively utilising your relationships with young people to inspire positive change, build trust, and help them achieve long-term success.

  • About Us London Borough of Sutton are offering an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in the expansion and development of Willow Rise Children’s Home. Wanting the best for our children, we are developing our current in-house residential services to best meet the needs of our children. Following significant Council investment, our new Residential Strategy seeks to bring children closer to families and the communities that they know, living in high quality provision designed around them. We are looking for Residential Youth Workers who will be fully supported by hands on and committed managers, great access to training and a support network including our integrated youth services.
