We are looking for a driven, inspiring, and determined salesperson to join our sales team, based in and covering the South of M4 corridor region. You will work directly alongside the National Sales Director, Managing Director, Ops Manager, and the wider sales team to develop restaurant sales in the Southern Home Counties region.
We seek a creative, autonomous salesperson who is energetic and positive, capable of guiding strategy and achieving results in a foodie hotspot. You must be a self-starter, target-focused, motivated by opportunity, and eager to make this territory your own, with a track record of success to look back on.
Your role will include:
1. Prospecting and delivering On-Trade focused sales for Wanderlust Wine in wine-led restaurants, high-quality restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, etc.
2. Focusing on new business acquisition, development, and conversion into sales, while managing existing customer relationships in the region.
3. Helping clients build and improve wine listings proactively.
4. Providing comprehensive staff training to clients when needed.
Required skills and qualities:
* Proven track record in developing and delivering new business.
* Commercially astute with excellent communication skills.
* Personable, ambitious, independent, and self-motivated.
* Knowledge of the region and local market is essential.
Skills required:
* At least 2 years of on-trade sales or account management experience.
* WSET Level 2 qualification required; Level 3 preferred.
* Good listener and empathetic to client needs.
* Excellent influencer skills across all stakeholder levels.
* Self-starter with goal-setting and execution capabilities.
* Ability to engage and build long-lasting relationships with clients.
* Profit-driven mindset with a strong understanding of new business growth.
