Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our client based in North Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver seeking steady, ongoing work with excellent PAYE rates and consistent day shifts.
The Role:
As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to a mix of construction sites and residential addresses across the region. The role involves operating a HIAB crane, with regular use of a brick grab attachment.
Key Responsibilities:
*
o Completing an average of 814 drops per day
*
o Delivering to both site and residential locations
*
o Operating the HIAB crane safely and efficiently
*
o Loading and unloading using HIAB (brick grab experience desirable)
*
o Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
*
o Providing a professional and customer-focused service
Requirements:
*
o Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
*
o Minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience
*
o At least 6 months HIAB experience (essential)
*
o Valid HIAB certification (ALLMI or equivalent)
*
o Brick grab experience desirable
*
o CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
