About the Role
You will play a central role in managing and delivering the financial operations of a globally active Executive Search firm. This is a hands-on position where you’ll drive financial planning, reporting, and compliance across EMEA and the US. You’ll be responsible for implementing financial strategies, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory adherence. With exposure to a dynamic international environment, this role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the financial integrity and strategic direction of the business.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Financial Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee financial strategies that align with the organisation's objectives.
* Budget Management: Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor spending to ensure adherence to financial plans.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
* Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s financial stability.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and accounting principles in the EMEA and US.
* Payroll Bonus Management: Calculate and oversee the allocation of bonus figures for payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational policies and performance metrics.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. ACA or similar professional qualification.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. Experience working in Executive Search is highly desirable.
Required Skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and proficiency in financial software and tools.
* In-depth understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices in risk management and corporate finance.
* Proficiency in financial management systems such as Xero and Oracle, leveraging these tools to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and support strategic financial planning.
