Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Shrewsbury area. This long-term role will begin as soon as possible and continue until Christmas 2026, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The role This is a long-term EYFS Teaching Assistant role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm. The successful candidate will support pupils within the Early Years setting, helping to deliver engaging learning activities and promote positive development until Christmas, with potential for a permanent opportunity. Requirements To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will: • Have previous experience working within an EYFS, Nursery, Preschool or Primary School setting. • Have a passion for supporting young children in their learning and development. • Be confident supporting learning through play and structured activities. • Have strong communication and teamwork skills. • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience. • Have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service. • Be able to provide relevant references covering your recent employment history.
