Overview
Senior Legionella Risk Assessor role at The MSS Group, based in Cardiff, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position which will require travel to sites in South Wales. MSS Water and the RSK Group are recruiting for a Senior Legionella Risk Assessor to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake site surveys for the production of Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with
o ACoP L8
o HSG 274
o HTM:04 01
o Water Regulations
o BS 8580
* Generate associated detailed end reports including recommendations for remedial action, site specific control schemes, management plans and schematic drawings
* Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients
* Be prepared to assist on Water Hygiene related tasks such as monitoring and maintenance
* Undertake inspections using appropriate electronic devices or relevant paperwork
Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrate previous 2 years’ experience in a similar role (Essential)
* City & Guilds or similar third party accredited Legionella control training (Essential)
* Demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity, working to strict quality control systems and operational procedures (Essential)
* Demonstrate proficiency in basic IT applications – MS Word, Excel (Essential)
* Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (ACoP L8, HTM:04 01, Water Regulations, BS 8580) (Essential)
* Full UK Driving License (Essential)
