💷 Pay Rate: Up to £38.02 per hour (Umbrella, DOE)

✨ About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Social Worker (Grade 9) to join our dedicated Children with Disabilities Team in Ellesmere Port.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disabled children and young people across the Cheshire West borough. You'll provide a statutory social work service to some of our most vulnerable young people, ensuring they receive the right support to achieve positive outcomes and lead fulfilling lives.
Working as part of a supportive, multi-agency team, you'll manage a varied caseload and work closely with families, carers, schools, and health professionals to ensure each child's needs are fully understood and met.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
1. Provide a high-quality statutory social work service to children and young people with disabilities.
2. Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring services are tailored to meet individual needs.
3. Work closely with families and carers to promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.
4. Collaborate with partner agencies, including education and health, to coordinate holistic support.
5. Ensure all practice aligns with safeguarding policies, the Children Act, and local procedures.
6. Maintain accurate, timely case records and produce clear, evidence-based reports.
7. Contribute to team development, reflective practice, and continuous service improvement.
