A well‑established national housebuilder with a strong presence across the North of England is seeking additional support on one of its active developments in Workington. The business is known for delivering high‑quality, affordable homes and maintaining strong site standards.
Your new role
You'll join the site team as a Freelance Site Manager, focusing specifically on internals and snagging across multiple plots. Your responsibilities will include driving homes through the final stages, coordinating trades, ensuring quality finishes, managing snag lists, and supporting the site team to achieve timely, customer‑ready completions. The contract is initially 4 weeks, with the potential to extend depending on site progress and performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience managing internals and snagging on new‑build housing developments
Strong eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
Ability to coordinate trades and maintain programme deadlines
Up‑to‑date SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
Confident communicator who can work independently and integrate with an existing team
Availability to start at short notice
