We’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist, with experience of investments and pension-related content marketing planning and delivery, to help us build out our investment content strategy and deliver our content plans to support the overall Brand & Marketing strategy and delivery of our trading objectives.
About The Role
* Plan, develop and deliver investment content and communications in support of the overall marketing plan, using the most appropriate formats and media.
* Make sure content activity supports the delivery of new business targets and other key strategic objectives, including building the Royal London brand and meeting our regulatory requirements.
* Day-to-day responsibility for always-on content planning and delivery, including identifying relevant themes for our adviser, customer and employer audiences.
* Use data and insight to continuously test, learn and optimise content and communications.
* Work on cross-functional projects to deliver content and communications to support major campaigns and initiatives.
* Identify and deploy key internal specialists and external suppliers (including creative agencies and freelancers) needed to support specific content/communications activity and manage these relationships through to successful delivery.
* Work with other business areas to identify opportunities and turn these into compelling messages and content.
About You
* Excellent writing/editing skills – ideally experience in a similar role.
* Experience in creating content for a variety of different formats and different audiences, including promotional and thought‑leadership content.
* Excellent knowledge of investments and pensions, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging content.
* Good understanding of FCA regulations as they apply to content and communications.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Strong stakeholder management experience.
* A motivated self-starter, who can shape, own and manage projects and activities from start to finish.
