Overview
Senior Client Service Manager, Asset Owners role at ACCA Careers. Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 financial institution, seeks a candidate to provide high‑quality service to a multi‑billion dollar book of fiduciary clients within the Institutional Fiduciary Team. The role touches all elements of finance including banking, fiduciary, custody and funds.
Responsibilities
* Work on a mixed portfolio of company and trust structures on behalf of clients, engaging with internal partners, advisors and managers to provide excellent client service.
* Balance client expectations with appropriate fiduciary risk management and diligence.
* Prepare/execute minutes and resolutions as required. Execute all necessary authorised documentation and payments.
* Review financial statements.
* Act as a point of contact for fiduciary entities in the portfolio as applicable. Plan and attend client and advisor meetings.
* Act as authorised signatory.
* Ensure client structures adhere to relevant regulatory requirements.
* Ensure decision making is accurately documented and client records and filings are accurate and compliant with regulations.
* Proactively collaborate with the fiduciary team and internal partners to identify areas for improvement.
* Liaise with other Northern fiduciary teams to maintain consistency of service where appropriate.
* Be the point of contact for service‑related issues.
Knowledge and Skills / Qualifications
* Continuous development of fiduciary knowledge to stay up to date with best practice.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements and changes for Guernsey and other relevant jurisdictions.
* Professional approach to work and client interactions, with regard to information privacy.
* Qualified or working towards ICSA or STEP qualification, or equivalent experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication, numeracy and computer skills, with a positive can‑do attitude.
* Self-motivated with excellent time management.
* On‑the‑job training supported by internal courses, external conferences and professional qualification assistance.
The competencies valuable for this role include: Communication, Focused client relationships, Team orientation, Negotiation and sales skills as appropriate.
The position suits someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance role who is eager to develop and contribute to a high‑performing team.
