Robert Half Talent Solutions are hiring a Management accountant for a successful organisation based in Ferndale- north of Pontypridd
The Management Accountant will be reporting into the Head of Finance you'll be responsible for the management accounts for business.
There is potential to grow these responsibilities as you progress.
1. Issue timely and complete financial reports including coordination of the annual report, monthly management accounts (inc. budget variance reports) and weekly forecast updates.
2. Maintenance of accounting systems, records and controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy of companies' financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and reporting standards.
3. Maintain documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
4. Oversee operations of the accounting department.
5. Ensure accounts payable are paid in a timely manner, taking advantage of any reasonable early payment discounts.
6. Ensure accounts payable are all collected promptly.
7. Ensure bank reconciliations are completed regularly.
8. Maintain chart of accounts.
9. Ensure an orderly accounting filing system is maintained.
10. Produce annual budgets.
11. Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
12. Produce ad-hoc reports when needed, most frequently in relation to investment or project appraisals.
13. Produce KPI and Management reports to MD and Group Finance.
Salary to £45,000 plus study support
