Location: Aberdeen
Contract: 12-month paid internship / industrial placements
Working pattern: Monday-Friday, flexible working hours (Generally office-based Tuesday-Thursday)

We're looking for a Commercial & Business Intern to join our Project Services Delivery - Commercial and Project Team of a well-known Oil Exploration & Energy Services business. This internship is your opportunity to understand how we work, experience our culture, and demonstrate your capability to succeed in a commercial project environment.
What you'll be doing
As a Commercial & Business Intern, you'll support a wide range of commercial, administrative, and project activities, including:
Supporting the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of project deliverables
Ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements
Recording and processing customer and intercompany orders for products and services
Supporting customer service and sales order entry for direct sales and service orders
Providing monthly status updates on open orders, including Work in Progress and Backlog reporting
Processing monthly Engineering and Project Management timesheets and Requests to Invoice
Liaising with internal stakeholders on order status, quantity changes, line modifications, and delivery updates
Working closely with Production, Buyers, and Planners to follow up on customer orders
Helping coordinate logistics activities, including preparing and supporting equipment loadouts

Essential:
Studying towards (or recently obtained) degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline
Strong organisational and time management skills
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Confidence using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI experience is advantageous
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
Desirable:
Exposure to commercial, project, or customer service environments
Interest in project delivery, order management, or operational support functions
