About You
You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Responsibilities include managing food supplies, training new staff, and cleaning, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
We seek a Kitchen Assistant with some kitchen experience, ideally with an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to obtain one. Strong organizational skills, good record-keeping, recipe following, and considerate communication are essential.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns is required.
