We are currently seeking a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern of 6am – 2pm and 8am – 4pm, with the expectation for overtime in line with business requirements.
Please note, this role will internally be called Warehouse Operative.

The Role
As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will support the safe and efficient movement of goods across inbound and outbound operations at our Panattoni site in Northampton (NN7 4DE).
You will handle products using manual handling equipment, including a counterbalance forklift, ensuring goods are moved and stored correctly to minimise damage and maintain safe working practices.
Additionally, you will:
- Conduct equipment checks and report defects
- Follow health and safety procedures, including PPE use
- Report any issues or deviations to your line manager
- Support general warehouse tasks as required
About You
To be considered as a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will need:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a warehouse environment
- A valid counterbalance licence
- A flexible and proactive attitude
- Good general IT skills
- An awareness of manual handling techniques
- The ability to adapt to changing demands and meet deadlines
