Sharp Consultancy are recruiting an experienced FP&A Manager to join a leading manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take a forward-facing, strategic role within a fast-paced, innovative organisation.
You’ll report directly to the Head of FP&A and work closely with the wider finance team, helping to drive profitable growth, oversee financial planning, and provide insights that influence key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, manage, and present rolling forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
* Analyse financial results, provide commentary, and explain variances versus forecast, budget, and prior year.
* Build and enhance reporting and dashboards, including Power BI, to automate processes.
* Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions.
* Act as a forward-facing business partner, providing actionable insights to senior managers.
Who we’re looking for:
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or actively studying.
* Strong FP&A experience
* Experienced in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.
* Comfortable presenting to senior business managers and leaders.
* Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools advantageous.
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure.
* Resilient, creative problem solver with commercial awareness.
