Your duties will include:
1. Ensuring effective management of IT incidents and requests to their resolution, minimising impacts to citizens and stakeholders.
2. Taking a lead role in their identified area to maintaining excellent stakeholder and supplier relationships, alongside effective performance to SLA
3. Provide leadership, direction, management, and development to the team
4. Provide expert advice and act as identified area lead to deliver effective business systems to their supported departments.
5. Play a lead role in managing the software upgrades and disaster recovery tests of key IT systems
6. Manage the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of Application Support policies, processes, procedures, and standards
7. Co-ordinate and lead Heads of Service Stakeholder leaders and IT colleagues to deliver business systems support for their identified area to enable service delivery requirements
Required skills and experience:
8. Knowledge of Business Services and the business systems that support them
9. Able to lead, motivate, organise and develop staff, to ensure delivery of team priorities and objectives
10. Familiar with a range of technologies including, report generation tools such as SQL
11. Good working knowledge of supporting Liquid Logic systems (LAS, LCS, EHM, EYES & ContrOCC) but the LA would consider candidates who have done a similar role using other social care systems
