Customer Service Administrator - Temporary Role
Cheadle | Office-Based | Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy, office-based team in Cheadle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction alongside strong administrative support and coordination.
You'll act as a key link between residents, internal teams, and external contractors, helping to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience from start to finish.
The Role
Act as the main point of contact for residents regarding upcoming works and service schedules
Contact residents via phone and email to arrange and confirm appointments (no cold calling)
Handle inbound calls and emails, resolving queries professionally at first point of contact
Provide administrative support across multiple departments, including data entry, filing and document preparation
Coordinate with site, logistics and maintenance teams to ensure schedules run smoothly
Manage and escalate customer complaints or complex issues to the relevant department when required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an office-based customer service or administration role (property or housing experience desirable)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
A customer-focused, proactive and empathetic approach to problem-solving
