Vacancy: Bid Writer (Junior)
Reports to: Sales Manager
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Permanent, Full time: 5 days per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Location: Unit 3 Whiffens Farm, Clement Street, Hextable, Kent, BR8 7PQ

About Us:
Riverside Environmental Services Ltd (founded in 2002) provides market-leading asbestos and legionella consultancy services across the UK to a range of public sector clients including: social housing, civic buildings, blue light, heritage and museum sectors.
We regularly submit tender bids for public sector contracts and are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated bid writer to join our team.

What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will have transferable skills and able to demonstrate both creative writing skills and exceptional organisational skills. You will be mentored by a professional bid-writer with over 20 years of experience.
In addition to leading our bid process, they will also provide general administrative support to the sales team.
This is an ideal role for candidates who have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, who are looking to further develop their writing and commercial skills as part of a fast-growing company which leads the way in its industry.
Key responsibilities
* Reviewing tender portals for new bid opportunities
* Full bid management
* Develop, write and edit high quality material that responds to client needs and articulates win themes through understanding client needs and scoring criteria
* Formatting proposals according to client requirements and company standards
* Ensuring timely submission of bids within strict deadlines
* Developing engaging case studies by liaising with subject matter experts across the business
* Maintaining bid library
* Providing general administrative support to the sales team
What you will be doing:
· Training and onboarding programme of 4 weeks
· Updating of CRM system (Hubspot) and reporting on bid progress
· Managing the full bid-cycle (opportunity to award, and if successful, onboarding the project team)
