Join our team as a Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiographer at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
Due to expansion of our cardiac services, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialised Cardiac Echocardiographer to join our Cardiac Physiology team. We are a forward-thinking team committed to service improvement and professional development, supported by weekly meetings, MDT imaging reviews, and attendance at national conferences. We promote a four-day working week to enhance work-life balance, with standard hours from 08:00 to 18:00, flexible by discussion.
The ideal candidate will hold BSE accreditation, be passionate about patient-centered care, and motivated to provide training for junior physiologists. Clinical skills in cardiac rhythm management or PCI are desirable but not essential. This is a full-time role, but part-time applicants are welcome. The position involves Saturday rotations.
Requirements include a BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent (e.g., BTEC HNC) and full TTE BSE accreditation. The role is based at Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital. The interview date is to be confirmed.
We take pride in our Echocardiography departments, performing standard transthoracic, 3D, bubble, contrast, stress echo, and supporting transoesophageal studies. We offer a relocation package up to £13,000 for those relocating within the UK.
