The Role
As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving volume targets, increasing market share, and coverage for the sales of forklifts and other material handling equipment. This will include:
* Planning daily prospecting activities aligned with sales goals
* Manage your own diary and conduct visits to existing and clients
* Providing accurate weekly sales forecasts
* Identifying customer requirements and conducting site surveys
* Producing accurate quotes for orders using the company CRM
* Ensuring complete and accurate order documentation is delivered to Sales Administration
* Promoting the full range of products and services offered by the company
* Work closely with the sales director to produce tenders
The Candidate
You will be a sales professional ideally with experience of solution selling of a premium brand. You will also have the following skills, experiences and attributes:
* Ideally you will have experience of selling fork lifts or other material handling equipment such as pallet trucks
* Candidates with experience of selling other capital equipment will be considered
* Experience of carrying out a technical sale
* Experience of selling in to warehousing or transportation environments
* Must have a driving licence
* Must be commercial astute and target driven
