Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work at an exceptional health and wellbeing centre in Birmingham, West Midlands. The centre is part of one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, dedicated to delivering high-quality services that make a real difference to their users.
To be considered for this position, you must be NMC registered and hold a V300 qualification, with previous experience in a primary care setting.
Key duties include:
* Assessing your own learning needs through performance reviews and setting objectives to support service improvement.
* Developing clinical and leadership skills through training, ensuring competency in all aspects of care, and understanding clinical governance and risk management.
* Maintaining professional development and undertaking necessary training to uphold high standards of evidence-based clinical skills.
* Conducting teaching sessions and presentations for staff, and contributing to training and education related to the role of the UCC and ENP/ANPs.
* Adapting and expanding the Nurse Practitioner role as needed.
Preferred skills and experience include:
* Clinical leadership experience
* Teaching and assessing skills
* Advanced clinical skills specific to the service
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
* Adherence to evidence-based practice
* Independent working in healthcare
* V300 qualification and primary care experience
* Proficiency in IT systems and Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £48,000 – £58,000 per annum, working 33 hours per week in a permanent full-time role. Benefits include:
