Overview
Lancaster University School of Law seeks to appoint two Lecturers in Corporate Law to contribute across undergraduate corporate law modules and to the LLM in International Commercial and Corporate Law. Knowledge of EU law would be an advantage but is not essential.
Responsibilities
* Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Take on administrative duties and/or leadership roles as requested by the School.
* Deliver teaching across the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
* Develop and maintain a research or scholarship programme, depending on the selected track (Teaching & Research or Teaching & Scholarship).
* Produce high‑quality publications and contribute to the next Research Excellence Framework (for Teaching & Research).
* Apply personal scholarship to teaching and leadership activities (for Teaching & Scholarship).
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have a strong academic background in corporate law and evidence of teaching experience. A knowledge of EU law is advantageous. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to engage students, deliver excellent teaching, and contribute to the School’s research and scholarship agenda.
