An Associate Director is sought to lead a Building Physics and Building Performance team across London, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle offices of this well-known consultancy.
With clients in the public and private, schemes ranging in complexity and different stages of build from "glint in the client's eye" to refurbishment planning no two days are the same.
You will need to be within a commutable distance of Leeds, London, Manchester or Newcastle or seeking relocation to be a commutable distance for hybrid working.
The role will involve managing a team carrying out energy analysis and carbon modelling, carbon calculations, overheating and circular economy strategy. This will also encompass mentoring, finances and workload while also leading in to you getting involved with cost centre management and business development.
You will need to have a degree and a thorough understanding of Part L with fluency using simulation packages such as IES-VE, TAS or DesignBuilder.
Essentially you must have previously worked in a building physics/sustainability consultant post and be based within the Leeds, London, Manchester or Newcastle area.
