JOB TITLE : Senior Specialist: Controllership UK & Australia

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist: Controllership UK & Australia to support finance, compliance, and statutory reporting across their UK, Jersey, and Australian corporate entities.
WORK ACCOUNTABILITIES
End-to-end SAP GL accounting, journal processing, reconciliations, and vendor analyses.
Group reporting including HFM submissions and monthly/quarterly/annual finance schedules for head office and external auditors.
Preparation of statutory financial statements for UK, Jersey, and Australia entities; audit liaison with PwC.
Management of statutory filings across jurisdictions (Companies House, JFSC, ASIC, ATO, surveys, exemptions).
Treasury and Group Tax liaison.
Completion of SOX financial controls.
Annual budgeting support for multiple corporate entities.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
UK accredited chartered accountant with strong knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements
SAP (ECC6/S4) and HFM experience essential
5–7 years’ financial reporting experience.
Strong SOX, IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP experience essential
Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
