Academics are recruiting a committed SEN KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with ASD in a school in Eastbourne. This is a rewarding full-time role supporting a KS2 pupil to access learning, build independence, and thrive in the classroom. The Role Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ASD. Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation. Work in line with the child's EHCP. Liaise closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and SLT. Create a structured, supportive learning environment. Requirements Experience working with children with SEN (ASD desirable). Calm, patient, and consistent approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply. 2 years' worth of references for safeguarding checks.
