Salary: Up to £39,500 DOE, with potential earnings of £60,000 including overtime

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Service Technician to join a growing service team. If you enjoy a variety of work, diagnosing and repairing machinery, and delivering excellent results to customers, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of professional and domestic grounds care machinery. You thrive on challenges, work efficiently, and are always keen to learn new skills and develop your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service and repair Agricultural/ Farm machinery from multiple manufacturers.
* Diagnose faults and provide accurate information to prepare repair quotes.
* Complete all necessary documentation for work assignments.
* Carry out diagnostics and repairs in the workshop and at customer sites.
* Perform pre-delivery setup for new or used equipment.
* Maintain a clean, organised workstation and ensure correct use of tools and vehicles.
* Participate in training and certification programs to continually develop skills.
* Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Essential:
* High level of mechanical competence and experience with turf or similar machinery.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good timekeeping and communication skills.
* Own tools and computer literacy; training on company systems provided.
* Previous experience with commercial, agricultural, or construction machinery.
Desirable:
* Professional qualification in grounds care or agricultural machinery maintenance.
* Forklift license.
