How you'll make an impact
As the Head of Placements, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent across a variety of Bermuda businesses. In this role, you will act as a trusted strategic partner, developing role‑specific talent strategies and tailored search approaches to effectively source, attract, and present high‑calibre candidates. You will be responsible for presenting data‑driven insights, discussing market conditions, and supporting broader talent strategies to meet client needs. This position requires expertise in client relationship management and talent acquisition strategies, to source and place top‑tier talent in both local and international markets.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic plans for the placements division, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives, ensuring that Frontier maintains its strong presence in the market and continues to grow its business while upholding its reputation for excellence and integrity.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
* Develop and execute strategies to expand existing client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align placement with broader business goals.
* Lead and manage the recruitment team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
* Oversee the end‑to‑end recruitment process, ensuring best practices are followed to maximise the talent pipeline and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
* Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time‑to‑fill, placement success rates, and client satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement.
* Stay informed about industry trends, labour market changes, and recruitment best practices to maintain Frontier’s competitive edge.
About you
* A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.
* A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in client relationship management, recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR consultancy.
* Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organisational goals, drive business growth, and deliver measurable results.
* Strong track record of building and maintaining trusted partnerships with high‑profile clients, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored talent solutions.
* In‑depth knowledge of sourcing and placing top‑tier talent in both local and international markets, with a strong understanding of global labour market trends and employment legislation.
* Proficiency in analysing recruitment metrics, market data, and operational performance to inform strategic decisions and improve outcomes.
* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas, data, and strategies to executive stakeholders and clients.
* Strong working knowledge of CRM, recruitment software, and HR technology platforms.
* A strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced, competitive environment.
