Sales Team Leader - Automotive
Location: Milton Keynes (hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

We’re looking for someone who loves to manage and develop a high performing sales team to join our Hyundai project. As a Sales Team Manager, you’ll have a passion for people, to support the team’s development goals as well as building great relationships with our client to manage our large portfolio of established accounts and generating new business

What will you do?
* You will lead, inspire and drive performance of a diverse sales team of 8
* You will be managing end to end process for cross brand VAM service (customer account management) & SME Active Sales.
* As Sales Team Manager you will be expected to support the company, its client, and your team in sales processes and customer experience,
* You will have the ability to provide clear performance goals which all team members understand
* You will be able to create a performance culture where behavioural and work rate expectations are understood and met by the team when working at home or in the office
* Be able to recognise, show appreciation for, and celebrate success
* Lead and coach sales teams in various stages of the sales process
* Coaching and developing the team within ROI values and rigorously deliver all project SLAs/KPIs/Quality targets
* Identify and own root cause when key results aren't met and meet deadlines for actions and objectives
* Support team member's development goals and regularly review progress against agreed Personal Development Plans (PDP)
* Build trust and manage boundaries appropriately with direct reports, peers, clients, customers, and managers whilst building relationships and challenging constructively.

* Strong relationship building skills - Must be willing to attend occasional events outside working hours, invited to by brands
* Ideally, you will have B2B sales experience
* Influential with the ability to inspire, lead and drive the team to achieve targets and goals
* Inspirational communicator, capable of articulating ideas and plans with clarity and enthusiasm
* Builds genuine relationships, is always approachable, positive and instils trust and confidence with others
* Collaborative with the ability to create a culture of support and teamwork, recognising the strengths each team member brings
* Self-starting and passionate about own and others development, thrives on continuous improvement
* Is naturally inquisitive, resourceful and can leverage the available resources and network around them
