Job Summary
Lead/Staff Scientist Life Cycle Assessment is expected tohave demonstrated expertise in estimating the LCA of variousproducts including Ammonia Urea and Enhanced Urea from Cradle toGrave. Exposure to preparation of various product specific ISOcompliant method documents GHG protocol methodologies. Demonstratedexpertise on working with various certification agencies Providetechnology solution to improve energy consumption water utilizationin commercial plants in carbon efficient manner as needed. The LCAtechnologist is required to support in Growth Projects and evaluateenergy efficiency carbon footprint of multiple designs of lowcarbon ammonia and urea plants support the project team to selectthe most efficient technology.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Provide directions and energy carbon footprint assessmentleading to optimum technology selection for low carbon Ammonia ureadevelopment and technology configuration of the process.
* Conceptualize design implement and continuously developlife cycle assessment and CO2 footprint calculation ofproducts.
* Prepare productspecific ISOcompliantmethod documents for the calculation of life cycle assessments andCO2 footprints of products.
* Independentlycollect analyze and evaluate technical data for project executionsuch as energy consumption efficiencies or raw materialusage.
* Review Engineering Documents and steerenergy balance for optimum technology selection in terms of LCAfootprint.
* Support the certification of newproducts with the calculation of life cycle assessments and CO2footprints of products with recognized certificationbodies.
* Actively collaborate and executeprojects with a focus on life cycle assessments carbon footprintcalculations and environmental impact mitigationopportunities.
* Actively contribute to thesafety culture coach young employees and initiate newprograms.
Requirements:
* This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Riyadh SaudiArabia.
* Masters or PhD ispreferred.
* Minimum of 15 years of experiencein dealing with LCA assessment carbon footprint assessmentcertification processes and technology selection.
* Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
* Leadership skills to work with and influence highlytalented individuals from diverse disciplines andcultures.
* Ability to create foster and drive aculture of innovation.
* Excellent interpersonaland communication skills.
