The Role
As a Procurement Performance Manager, you’ll lead procurement operations and performance across Mission Systems, driving strategic capability forward in line with our five-year plan. This is a role where your expertise will deliver real impact - reducing costs, optimising supplier relationships, and shaping processes that support national security. Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
* Lead Mission Systems supply chain performance and deliver on our five-year procurement strategy.
* Manage and direct procurement operations, collaborating across functions to ensure success.
* Drive delivery of benefit and savings targets for Mission Systems.
* Collate and present performance reports for Group and Sector leadership.
* Champion process standardisation and act as Coupa lead for Group P&SC.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Procurement Performance Manager
* Significant procurement experience, ideally in a project procurement environment, including management experience.
* Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
* Flexible approach to workload and ability to operate at all levels.
* Self-motivated with proven ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
* Hands-on experience with Power BI, IFS, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications for the Procurement Performance Manager
* Degree-level qualification and/or relevant engineering, supply chain, or lean culture experience.
* Membership of a professional body such as CIPS Level 5 or above (advantageous but not essential).
