Role Overview We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our small team and handle ice deliveries to clients in the Belfast and Dublin areas. This is a part-time role, working two days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays), involving loading, transporting, and delivering premium frozen ice products in a temperature-controlled vehicle. Ideal for someone local to the Belfast/Dublin corridor who enjoys driving and interacting with hospitality businesses. Key Responsibilities Collect pre-packed ice orders from our production facility/base (likely Dundonald/Holywood area near Belfast) and deliver to bars, restaurants, and hotels in Belfast, Dublin, and surrounding areas. Maintain product quality by ensuring ice remains frozen during transport (using refrigerated/freezer van). Provide friendly, professional service to clients, including handover of deliveries and basic order confirmation. Follow safe driving practices, adhere to road regulations (including cross-border if required), and complete delivery documentation/logs. Keep the delivery vehicle clean, report any issues, and perform basic vehicle checks. Assist with occasional route planning or last-minute adjustments for efficient deliveries. Essential Requirements Full clean driving licence (Category B; no endorsements or penalty points that would affect insurability). Right to work in Northern Ireland / Ireland (valid for cross-border work). Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Physically fit able to lift and carry ice deliveries (typically up to 15-20kg each). Strong customer service attitude and good communication skills. Desirable Previous delivery driving experience (e.g., multi-drop, food/beverage, hospitality supply chain, or courier work). Familiarity with Belfast and/or Dublin road networks and routes. Experience handling temperature-sensitive or frozen goods. Own transport to get to collection point. Hours & Pay 2 days per week (Wednesdays & Thursdays), typically full days depending on route volume (start/finish times flexible but expect early starts).
